The Department of Science and Technology - Food and Nutrition Research Institute (DOST-FNRI)
celebrates the annual Nutrition Month every July through a seminar series. This activity serves as
a venue for the Institute to present the research and development (R&D) accomplishments and
innovative technologies developed in the previous year. Also featured yearly are the undergraduate
research competition on nutrition and food technology students from various universities in Metro
Manila and the regions.
This year, the DOST-FNRI in cooperation with the Food and Nutrition Research Institute Employees Association, Inc. will hold the 43rd Seminar Series on Food and Nutrition Researches and S&T Activities with the theme “Science, Technology and Innovation in Food and Nutrition: Key to Healthy Diet and Lifestyle” on July 3-5, 2017 at the CROWNE PLAZA GALLERIA HOTEL, Ortigas Avenue, corner ABD Road, Quezon City.
As in the previous years, the Seminar Series will feature oral and poster presentations of completed researches on food and nutrition R&D and S&T activities by the DOST-FNRI.
This annual activity will be attended and participated in by top government officials, food industry partners, entrepreneurs, nutritionist-dietitians, nutrition workers, public health practitioners, members of the academe and research organizations, and nutrition allies in the medical fields and media practitioners.
